In my early 50s, this was my first KISS concert and I went purely to be entertained. I took my 21 year old son and his friends, and they ate it up. They are in super shape and we were not disappointed. Buckcherry opened and did a good job in closing. They are very talented, but they were a little too loud at times, which made it hard to listen to. They put themselves out there and entertained the audience for 2 hours when it comes to putting on a show, they rule. Ok, so we know that Dokken is not musically at the top, but they were surprisingly good at times. I really thought that Gene would be the one out front, but he really stepped back for most of the evening unless it was his turn to sing or solo. Paul Stanley is a true front man, which is something I didn't know. Tons of music, lights, fireworks, antics, and it all gets eaten up by the KISS nation.
